Only stayed one night but would love to go back to explore even more! One of the nicest parks I've ever stayed at. The Buffalo and Prairie Dogs made the trip super special and we spent some time hiking, the views are amazing! Would highly recommend this place to all campers!
The park is one of the prettiest in the state. It is very well maintained. The biggest complaint is that too hike the trails, you have to either backtrack or walk significant distances on the roads. A few more trails need to be added so hikers can get back to their camp or parking without backtracking. The trails are also not marked well in places. If there are markers, they have seemingly random letters and numbers. Why? If you are going to put in markers, label then with mileage and trail names, not DR, BE, etc.
Really nice bathrooms. Great hiking trails! Watch the road, bison ahead! They have fishing available. The staff was nice.
We come here every year this year we brought along some extended family! It was amazing! Everyone had an amazing time,lots to explore. The kids can't wait to go back!
Great place, organized and beautiful. Be prepared with a lot of water. The only problem is that the trails are very poorly signalized so, it's easy to get lost if you don't pay really attention where you came from
